WE'RE A MUAY THAI GYM NESTLED IN THE HEART OF AUCKLAND.

We offer a range of classes that teach the martial ‘art of eight limbs’ so you can get your fitness in an enjoyable space. We aim to teach combat sports in an ego-less environment and a supportive community.

Whether you’re looking to become a fighter, gain self-defense skills, or just have a cool hobby that keeps you fit, we’re open to anyone!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

IS THERE A BEGINNER CLASS?

Our Technique and Circuit is perfect for beginners and experienced boxers alike, with adaptable workouts that can suit your skill level. If you’ve never boxed before — don’t worry, one of our trainers can take you through the basics so you’ve got your technique down.

DO I NEED TO BRING GLOVES AND HANDWRAPS?

We have plenty of gloves at the gym for you to use and hand wraps can be purchased from reception; otherwise you’re welcome to bring your own!

We highly recommend atleast bringing hand wraps, especially if you attend class frequently. These will keep your hands and wrist safe.

IS THERE PARKING?

We have 4 allocated car parks that must be booked; this parking is underneath the Scene One Apartments. There is also parking available at the Britomart Car Park.

DO YOU OFFER PERSONAL TRAINING?

Yes, we offer personal one-on-one training sessions that are tailored to your fitness level and goals. Flick us an email at hawksnestgym.nz@gmail.com for a quote and to arrange a time that suits you.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR CLASS?

We recommend arriving 15 minutes before class, so we can get you settled in and your hand wraps on.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO CLASS?

You’ll want to come in comfy workout gear. If you need to change, we have female and male changing rooms where you can store your things. Feel free to bring your own hand wraps/gloves if you have them too.
